Charities Plus (formal name Littlewood Charities Club, Inc.) is a social group (not for profit organisation) established in 1985, based in Melbourne, Victoria -
Through social functions the club raises funds for a number of charities listed in the constitution -
Events are designed to appeal to unattached people in the
50+ age group and include: -
Casual and formal dinners - Sunday (or sometimes Saturday) lunches

Movie and Amateur Theatre nights -
Venues with music/dancing - Occasional country trips/lunches/wineries, etc

Well known and popular Christmas Celebration in early December (or sometimes late November)
- Events are mainly held on week nights (with some weekend activities) within a 10 km radius of the CBD, usually east and south-east of the city.

Littlewood Charities Club, Inc. was originally formed by the late Jean and Ralph Littlewood. -
Members are mostly from business and professional backgrounds who live in the wider Melbourne area. Some are retired. -
We are known for our generous spirit and for the friendliness of our members -
The President and Committee all volunteer their time to the club. -
Profits from events are distributed annually to well known charities, some of which do not receive any government funding. -
Membership is $40 per year, commencing 1st June to 31st May each year. This entitles members to regular newsletters with information about events and discounted entry to most events. -
